Ugo Okafor
Ugo is an astute professional and business executive with experience spanning over 20 years in management, business strategy and the oil and gas industry. He is the Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, a Nigerian oil and gas exploration and production company with operating assets which he founded 17 years ago. Ugo is also the founder of GWI Ventures Nigeria Limited where he heads the Management team.
Ugo holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Barrister at Law (BL) from the Nigerian Law School. Ugo attended the Vanderbilt University School of Law, USA where he obtained a Juris Doctorate (JD) and was on the Dean’s list of the University. He also obtained a Certificate in Financial Modelling and Petroleum Project Economics at the International Human Resources Development Corporation(IHRDC), Boston, USA.
Ugo is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and is currently undergoing coursework at MIT Sloan School of Management towards his Advanced Management Program (AMP).
